if you want to claim something - your character's face, house, property, e-mail address, phone number, etcetera - this is where you do it. please note that you do not have to claim anything except a house or property, and you must register on the patient list for the rehabilitation center.

it isn't compulsory to have a journal or diary for your character, unless they are a patient at the rehabilitation center. if they are, please try to post in your character's diary weekly. if not, you can still create a diary if you would like - you can even simply use it as a photo album for your character. please do not post images that will stretch the boards.

if you are a patient at the rehabilitation center, a sub-board will be created for your room in this board. technically, patients are not supposed to leave the grounds, but security is pretty slack and everyone sneaks out, anyway.

the main road through riverbeat county is called menangle street. it is on this street that all the shops in town are located, as well as the infamous rehabilitation center.

in the library you will mind hundreds of old and new books, as well as the town archives and newspapers dating from the 1800's when the town was founded by archie clement thorpe. come here to relax, read a book or learn about the history of riverbeat county.

| public pool & arcade
the public pool is as close to a beach as you're going to get in this rural town. aside from the riverbeat lake, it is the most popular swimming destination around. some people do prefer to swim in their own dams, however. the retro arcade is home to an eighties version of the ever-favourite pacman, as well as tetris and space invaders.

it isn't exactly a grown up thing to do, but some people love to come to the park to reminisce their childhood or have some shameless fun with friends.

the lake and surrounding parklands are a beautiful location nestled in a valley just ten minutes from the center of town. the peafeful serenity that falls over the area gives a great atmosphere for a family picnic, a first date or a swim with friends. there are many trails around the lake that are perfect for bush walks or riding.

the golf club was another idea of mister mcdermont's. fancy a hit ? you can only play the beautiful, ultra expensive course if you are a high paying member wishing to mingle with the 'elite' of riverbeat county - or, in other words, the city slickers with oodles of cash to burn and nothing better to do.
